The Prada Group has announced a partnership with the Fondazione Gianni Bonadonna, a scientific research project focused on cancer treatment that was presented at Fondazione Prada in Milan on 11 October.
The aim of the project is to continue the legacy of Gianni Bonadonna, a medical pioneer who carried out innovative work in every area of cancer research and treatment, leading to significant progress and major clinical breakthroughs in treating tumours.
Miuccia Prada, along with a large number of media representatives and members of the scientific community, heard speeches by Astrid Welter – Head of Programs at Fondazione Prada –, Carlo Mazzi – Chairman of the Prada Group –, Luca Gianni – President of the Fondazione Gianni Bonadonna – and Larry Norton – Senior Vice President of the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center New York. The presentation of the project was followed by a scientific symposium entitled ‘Envisioning the Future of Cancer Treatment Innovation’, attended by over 150 oncologists from Italy and overseas.
