Fondazione Prada presents Il Sarcofago di Spitzmaus e altri tesori (Spitzmaus Mummy in a Coffin and Other Treasures) – an exhibition devised by film director Wes Anderson and illustrator, designer and writer Juman Malouf – which explores a time period stretching from 3,000 BC to 2018.
The exhibition brings together 537 artworks and objects from 12 collections from the Kunsthistorisches Museum and 11 departments of the Naturhistorisches Museum in Vienna – two of the most important cultural institutions in Austria, and indeed the whole of Europe.
l Sarcofago di Spitzmaus e altri tesori reflects on what drives people to start a collection and investigates how collections are housed, presented and experienced.
