August saw the launch of Prada Paradoxe, the first women’s fragrance to stem from the partnership between Prada and L’Oréal. The perfume invites the wearer to explore and express the multiple sides of femininity, celebrating the multidimensionality of a woman who is never the same yet always remains herself. The marketing campaign both stars and is directed by actress Emma Watson, who embraces all her numerous dimensions – artist, activist, actor and woman – to the soundtrack of “Lord It’s a Feeling” by London Grammar, perfectly capturing the fragrance’s powerful spirit. The jus, created by the master perfumers Nadège Le Garlantezec, Shyamala Maisondieu and Antoine Maisondieu, is an olfactory paradox in which opposites attract: a bouquet of white flowers dominated by neroli and jasmine is revisited with Ambrofix and Serenolide accords, leading to an intimate trail that is also powerful and long lasting. The minimalist, luxurious, sophisticated and eccentric Paradoxe bottle takes inspiration from the iconic Prada triangle logo. The full range is refillable and is available in 30, 50 and 90 ml bottles along with 100 ml refills.
