The precious, fleeting moment when two people meet for the first time and the unique magic that instant contains are at the heart of Prada’s campaign celebrating the Qixi Festival, Chinese Valentine’s Day. The campaign’s images depict the stars walking, deep in thought, against the backdrop of various evocative urban landscapes. Their paths even cross, without them realising. The only hint of a connection between them is the golden gleam of a bag in which they search for something, or a casually worn accessory, a sort of premonition of what will soon bring them together. The special collection dedicated to the Qixi Festival features accessories dominated by the colour gold – as special as the first encounter between two future lovers – as well as a selection of garments that harmoniously combine formal and casual, evening and daywear.
