On the occasion of International Women’s Day, Prada Group confirms its support to the “Keeping Girls in the Picture” campaign – funded by the proceeds from the “Tools of Memory” F/W 2021 Prada auction. With this project the Group helps UNESCO to facilitate young women’s return to school after a difficult period, expanding their access to offline and online education opportunities, including digital skills training and learning resources in Ghana and Kenya, areas where gender disparities in education are the greatest. Over 30 rural communities and 3,000 women, including adolescent mothers in Ghana, and 5 secondary schools – one of which in a refugee settlement in Kenya – will benefit from this action, which also aims to increase local community awareness and girls’ empowerment.
