There were three new store openings in April in strategically important markets for Prada: China, Japan and South Korea.
Taikoo Hui Mall, Guangzhou (China): located inside the Taikoo Hui department store, this space, on two levels, covers an area of over 600 m², and houses the men’s and women’s ready-to-wear, leather goods, footwear and accessories collections. The shop has a bright facade interspersed with large, angular windows and wide entrance halls.
Galleria West Mall, Seoul (South Korea): found within the prestigious Galleria West mall and dedicated to Prada’s men’s ready-to-wear, leather goods, footwear and accessories collections, the shop has around 130 m² of floor space and features an imposing entrance and large angular window.
Narita International Airport, Tokyo (Japan): located within Terminal 1 of Narita airport, the boutique has a total floor space of 60 m² and houses the men’s and women’s leather goods, jewellery and accessories collections.
All three stores feature the brand’s iconic design identity, such as panelled walls covered in green canvas, a black-and-white chequered marble floor and Osvaldo Borsani chairs and other special furnishings inspired by 1950s Italian design.
