Designed by the Prada’s Industrial Engineering Department Team and operational since 19 October in Auckland, New Zealand, the Luna Rossa Pirelli headquarter is located in the heart of the village that will house all events tied to the upcoming 36^ America’s Cup presented by PRADA. The base comprises two main units – the technical hangars and a hospitality building. The hangars are tensile structures covering a total of 1,600 m² and containing the two race boats AC 75, a sail loft and other dedicated work spaces, with laboratories and workshops in two-storey shipping containers at the sides. The 800 m² hospitality building includes office and meetings area, together with a canteen served by a container kitchen, an hospitality area and a 100 m² merchandise shop, which will open in December for the first event in the America’s Cup World Series.
