“Prada has recently launched a new project called Re-Nylon, our commitment to the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goal “Life on Land and Life below Water”.
With these words, Lorenzo Bertelli, the Prada Group’s head of marketing and communication, underlined how the group’s commitment to sustainability also includes environmental protection. The Prada Group has recently set out to improve the energy efficiency not only of its industrial sites, but also its shops and offices, by installing solar panels and using energy from sustainable and renewable sources. In addition, in May 2019 Prada launched Re-Nylon, a project that aims to phase out all virgin nylon produced by the Prada Group by the end of 2021, and replace it with a recycled product. Prada Re-Nylon represents the group’s commitment to the United Nations’ “Life on Land and Life below Water” project.
