On the occasion of Art Basel Hong Kong, took place the second iteration of Prada Mode –the private club that provides members with a unique experience focusing on contemporary culture -over the third floor of Barrak Block of Tai Kwun on March 27 and 28.
Scheduled events include a special setup of the Prada Invites project — a collaboration with three outstanding architects Cini Boeri, Elizabeth Diller and Kazuyo Sejima -, and Dolls’ House, a photographic installation by the American artist Jamie Diamond, curated by Germano Celant and Melissa Harris. As part of the program dedicated to conversations, the Design Trust charity of Hong Kong hosted a conversation on “Architectural Activism – Between Heritage and Innovation – HK and Beyond.”, meanwhile, photographer Jamie Diamond, through the lens of several of her projects, talked about gender, role-playing, surrogacy and the mother-child relationship.
Among the guests at Prada Mode Hong Kong, international stars and personalities from the worlds of cinema, fashion, art and music including Marisa Yiu, Alan & Yenn Wong Lo, Hans Ulrich Obrist, Talenia Phua Gajardo, Mino, Aimee Song, Susie Lau, Bryan Yambo, Tina Leung, Leaf Greener, Sonia Cheng Pong, Olivia Croucher Buckingham.
