The Skipper and Team Director of Luna Rossa Prada Pirelli took part in the initiative of the Ministry of Education and Merit, meeting over 1,500 students at the Teatro Lirico in Cagliari.
A promoter and supporter of Luna Rossa Prada Pirelli’s projects dedicated to the training of new generations of male and female sailors, Max Sirena proved to be the perfect speaker to motivate the young audience, made up of youngsters preparing to face life’s challenges.
After recounting his journey-which over the years has led him to become team leader of the Italian challenger to the America’s Cup-the Skipper emphasized, in fact, the importance of young people in today’s society, the need to support them by enhancing their talents, and the fundamental role of their education.
To the students present, he told them not to be discouraged in front of difficulties and to work hard to reach the goal, with passion and dedication. He also suggested to them his recipe for success: surround yourself with culture, education, respect. And good music.
