“Multiple Canvases” is a film selection conceived by artists, curators and protagonists from the world of culture and science contributing to the current activities at Fondazione Prada. During the summertime screening program, the movable walls of the Cinema building are completely open, creating a hybrid environment: a projection room characterized by constant visual osmosis between the inner space, the courtyard and the architectural compound designed by Rem Koolhaas. Following the selection of 10 films curated by artists Elmgreen & Dragset and presented throughout July, “Multiple Canvases” continues every Friday and Saturday of September with films chosen by the “Human Brains” scientific committee in relation to the ongoing phases of the project. Programming will include films by such directors as Kathryn Bigelow, Sergei Eisenstein, Stanley Kubrick, François Truffaut and Wim Wenders.
The program will be available online soon.
