An original reinterpretation of Prada’s trademark triangle logotype and a light and relaxed mood with multi-coloured graphics: this is the concept of the Prada Symbole pop-up, recently inaugurated at Harrods, in London, where the triangle logo – repeated infinitely on the backlit windows in orange, green, blue and tobacco brown – takes centre stage, creating evocative geometric designs. The language is contemporary with pop influences and incorporates some “retrò” details, while wicker furniture with an original design adds a 1950s and 1960s touch. Protagonist of the special collection is the jacquard fabric Prada Symbole tote bag, which features the unmistakeable triangle logo repeated across its surface. Moreover, the first floor houses an elegant tea room – also inspired by the Symbole theme – where customers can rest and savour the Marchesi 1824 pastry and chocolate specialties in a relaxed yet sophisticated atmosphere.
