The book Luna Rossa Prada Pirelli Team – La sfida indimenticabile [The unforgettable challenge]’, featuring 200 photos by Carlo Borlenghi and text by journalists Guido Meda, Stefano Vegliani and Gian Luca Pasini, was launched at the Museo Nazionale della Scienza e della Tecnologia Leonardo da Vinci in Milan. The volume relives the Italian team’s extraordinary attempt at the 36th America’s Cup presented by Prada. During the event, the authors and skipper Max Sirena gave a behind-the-scenes account of the races and the months spent in Auckland, moderated by renowned sports reporter Giovanni Bruno and in front of a sold-out audience. They were joined by Marco Tronchetti Provera, the CEO of Pirelli, Agostino Randazzo, president of Circolo della Vela Sicilia, the publisher Stefano Peccatori and the director of the museum Fiorenzo Galli, as well as many members of the team and friends of Luna Rossa, including the helmsman Checco Bruni, sailor Vasco Vascotto and numerous journalists.
