On November 18th, 2021 Prada Group hosted the Capital Markets Day at the Cinema of Fondazione Prada, an important event addressed to the financial community and trade press. More than two hundred representatives from the most important institutions and national and international media, attended the event, in presence and online. In its introductory speech, Patrizio Bertelli, CEO of Prada Group, has underlined the positive performance of the Group, that in 2021 has exceeded the pre-Covid 2019 financial results; Mr. Bertelli has furthermore illustrated the medium-term financial targets – revenues of about 4,5 billion Euros, EBIT margin target of about 20% of total revenues and double online penetration to 15% of retail revenues within 2025. Together with the financial targets, strategy highlights were presented, including consistently distinctive identity, investment in style, quality and product uniqueness and focus on direct distribution, to increase store productivity and online penetration. Following Mr.Bertelli’s introduction, Alessandra Marsicola, Prada Retail Director; Benedetta Petruzzo, Miu Miu General Manager; Lorenzo Bertelli, Group Marketing Director & Head of CSR; Massimo Vian, Industrial Director; Alessandra Cozzani, Chief Financial Officer and Paolo Zannoni, Chairperson, have intervened illustrating all the details. To conclude, an ambitious climate strategy has been announced, together with the appointment of two Environmental, Social and Governance experts to the Board of Prada S.p.A to further ESG strategy and practices: Pamela Culpepper: Founding Member of Have Her Back Consulting firm and Anna Maria Rugarli: Corporate Sustainability Vice President of Japan Tobacco International.
