On the occasion of the fourth edition of the Festival Luigi Nono alla Giudecca, Fondazione Prada presented “AURA | SUL TOCCARE LE COSE” a choreographic project conceived by Virgilio Sieni. The performance – a cycle of eight actions involving professional and non-professional dancers with music by Nono – took place in Venice on the second floor of Ca’ Corner della Regina and was inspired by the “breath” of the rooms of the 18th-century palazzo and the gesture of touching, intended as a connection between present and past. As Sieni explains, “Through the manipulation of some of Luigi Nono’s objects of affection, choreographic actions are built based on the game of resonance between body and aura, proximity and absence“.
