After over a year of forced closure, the Prada Group has reopened the doors of its industrial facilities to the Prada Academy with three training courses, beginning in July with leather goods, and continuing after the summer break with footwear and clothing. The young people selected to take part will have the opportunity to explore the various raw materials and how they are processed, before creating top-level products under the guidance of professionals in each sector. This approach allows the young people to learn through creativity and practical work, giving them the chance to immediately get stuck into creating bags, accessories, footwear and ready-to-wear garments. They will be based in specially equipped areas at the group’s production sites, creating a direct and positive dialogue between the learning spaces and the professional environments. The relaunch of the Prada Academy once again confirms the Prada Group’s commitment to passing on its wealth of manufacturing skills to younger generations.
