“Stop Painting” is the new exhibition at Fondazione Prada’s Venice headquarters, the historic palazzo of Ca’ Corner della Regina, from 22nd of May to 21st of November 2021. Conceived by artist Peter Fischli, the exhibition explores five specific ruptures within the history of painting in the last 150 years, intertwined with the emergence of new social factors and cultural values. “Stop Painting” brings together more than 110 artworks by international artists divided into 10 sections, following not a chronological order, but a personal and idiosyncratic approach.
Fondazione Prada Venice is open every day, except Tuesdays, from 10 am to 6 pm.
