“The Auction”, a short film portraying the style and elegance of the new men’s collection for Autumn Winter 2021, is set in a British auction house, with precious objects for sale and highlights the synergy between Church’s quality and craftsmanship and the surrounding objet d’art of the auction room; it is in this setting that Church’s new Autumn/Winter collection – inspired by the brand’s archive and re-imagined in contemporary styles – is presented as the final and most precious lot of the auction. Characterized by their defined structure yet lightweight tread soles, the Shannon T and new Glenfield laced moccasin are both in brushed leather, whereas the Amberley iconic Chelsea boot – updated with a more rounded toe and is showcased with a new contrasting lateral elastic colour – sits next to the new Gillingham model, which takes note of the seasonal trend for squares toes, embellished with Church’s iconic brogue detailing. The British aesthetic can be found also in the new military-inspired Gray boot and the brand’s renowned Ryder desert boot, in polished binder leather. Complementing the classic models of the season are new casual sneakers in lace-up and high-top styles with chunky rubber soles and the brand’s logo screen-printed on the counter of the sneaker.
