“Increasingly I see the Fondazione as a place of ideas, not restricted to the visual arts. This neuroscience project widens our horizons even further, beginning with the most important topic of all: the human brain. Or rather brains, in the plural”. This was how Miuccia Prada described “Human Brains” in an interview with Aldo Cazzullo for the Corriere della Sera. She continued: “It is something that no visual arts institution has tried before; even if we are only partially successful, the aim is so ambitious it will have been worth the effort, since the Fondazione has to be useful and connected to the modern world in some way.”
