A series of digital talks exploring culture, fashion and life via Prada’s Instagram with practitioners, experts, authors and creatives from five key and interconnected spheres of culture, comprising fashion, art, architecture, cinema and thoughts. Each conversation will allow the audience to share ideas, ask questions to the participants, therefore becoming a wider discussion, connecting ever more diverse groups and people together and will also result with a donation from Prada to UNESCO, the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization. The first conversation, entitled “Fashion in Times of Crises” took place on 14th April between author and curator Pamela Golbin and the journalist Alexander Fury; the second one, held on April 21st, between the artist Francesco Vezzoli and the philosopher Emanuele Coccia about “Love in the Time of Coronavirus” and, on April 28th, with the conversations “Creating a new world” dedicated to the cinema with the director Lee Daniels and the film producer Jeffrey Katzenberg. The project continued, on May 5th, with the episode “Storytelling, Narrative & Fashion post Coronavirus” between the artist Arianne Philips and the actress and director Olivia Wilde, on May 12th with “The ocean, an ally against the virus”, animated by the activist and philanthropist Francesca Thyssen-Bornemisza and the Executive Secretary of the UNESCO Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission Vladimir Ryabinin and on May 26th with the sixth conversation “Performance in Photography”, animated by photographer Juergen Teller and director Lars Eidinger. The next appointment is scheduled for June 16th.
