August saw a significant development in Prada’s retail network, with a number of new openings:
- Prada Istanbul Airport: the store at the new Istanbul airport in Turkey has an overall floor space of 164 square metres and houses women’s and men’s leather goods, footwear and accessories collections.
- Prada Changi Airport: opened at Changi airport’s Terminal 1 in Singapore, this store covers an area of 109 square metres and is devoted to women’s and men’s leather goods and accessories collections.
- Prada Busan Lotte: re-opened in a new space, the Busan Lotte store in Korea occupies an overall floorspace of 170 square metres and houses women’s and men’s leather goods, footwear, accessories and eyewear collections.
The three spaces follow Prada stores visual codes, with green canvas-covered walls, black-and-white chequered marble floors, green velvet chairs and Plexiglas display furniture.
