Post Zang Tumb Tuuum. Art Life Politics: Italia 1918–1943, the exhibition at Fondazione Prada curated by Germano Celant that explored the system of art and culture in Italy in the interwar period, was named “Best Impressionist or Modern Art Group Exhibition” at the Global Fine Art Awards 2018. The New York-based ceremony, presided over by an international jury of curators and art historians, rewards the best and most innovative exhibitions of the year. Fondazione Prada’s project was described by the New York Times as “the most important show of 2018” and “a resounding achievement in exhibition making, blending rigorous scholarship, political engagement and immaculate design.”
