Prada has opened a new store in Bangkok, located within the Icon Siam mall, a top destination for upmarket shopping in the Thai capital. The shop, on a single floor with a total area of 400 m², sells all categories of products for both men and women. The façade features a sequence of vertical white blades and large windows that reveal the space within. The display areas are embellished with a bas-relief decoration on the walls depicting iconic Prada prints and a marble and crystal gallery that emphasises the length of the façade. The space is rounded off by the historic black-and-white chequered marble floor and the modern design of the beams on the ceiling.
In Saipan, the luxury destination of the Marianne Islands, Prada reopened its shop following a major restyle, inside the DFS Gallery, dedicated to luxury. It has a total floor space of approximately 180 m², and houses the men’s and women’s footwear, leather goods and accessories collections. A façade made of black Marquinia marble frames the two entrances and the window, where glass blades act as a backdrop to the display. The interior features panelled walls covered in canvas in a range of greens, enhanced by green Aver marble chests of drawers and display shelves. Highlights of the furnishings include the counters, glass tables and green velvet Osvaldo Borsani chairs. Rounding off the space is the black-and-white chequered floor, inspired by the historic Prada shop in the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II in Milan.
