Martina Caruso, chef patron at Signum di Salina restaurant in Sicily, is the fourth chef to take part in the CARE’S Chef Under 30 project, bringing with her a tasting menu featuring six courses that perfectly represent her culinary identity. Her creativity and taste, resulting from meticulous research into food traditions, bring out the freshness of the raw ingredients. Considered one of the ‘child prodigies’ of Italian cuisine, in 2016 Martina received her first Michelin star, thereby becoming the youngest female chef to be awarded the accolade in Italy.
