‘Shaping a Sustainable Digital Future’ is a conference organised by the Prada Group in partnership with the Politecnico di Milano School of Management and the School of Management at Yale University, one of the most prestigious universities in the USA. The aim of the event is to explore the links between sustainability and digitalisation. In preparation for the final stage, to be held in Milan at the headquarters of Fondazione Prada on 20 November, students from both universities have been giving their opinions on the topic ‘Can digitalisation be sustainable, and must it continue to be sustainable in future?’
This preliminary stage will end on 5 October with the contribution of the students from Yale, following the Politecnico di Milano students’ input in July. The best participants from both universities will then go head-to-head in a final hackathon (18 hours’ brainstorming) on 26 and 27 October in Yale.
From 8 October it will be possible to follow the project’s latest developments on the pradagroup.com website, and join the digital conversation using the hashtag #sustainabledigitalization.
