The Board of Directors of Prada Group has approved, on 1st of August, the Consolidated Financial Results for the first semester 2018, ended 30th of June. During this period the Group’s results registered a positive performance across all markets and product categories, with net revenues at Euro 1.5 billion, a growth of 9% at constant exchange rate compared to 2017. Good organic growth both for Prada (+10%) and Miu Miu (+8%) – positive across all product categories – and the performance of the Retail (+10%) and Wholesale (+8%) channels, at constant exchange rates. In growth also the margins: Ebit at 159 million, +16%, Net Income at 106 million Euro, +11% – both compared to the first semester of 2017 -, and sound operating cash flow, at 180 million Euro.
Patrizio Bertelli, CEO of the Prada Group, declared: ‘Prada Group achieved very satisfactory results in the first half of 2018, with revenue growth across brands, markets and products along with margin progression, despite continued investment in product quality and innovation, visibility of the brands and the digital evolution. A new phase of progress has begun in which Prada Group can deliver its full potential’.
