Prada has opened a new menswear and womenswear shop in Daegu, South Korea, in the Shinsegae department store, the city’s hub for luxury shopping. This new venture strengthens the brand’s position in this strategic market.
Located on the fifth floor and with a total floor space of approximately 300 m², the space houses the men’s and women’s leather goods, footwear and ready-to-wear collections.
The facade is clad in green Aver marble and has a large entrance and windows, while the interior features a black-and-white chequered floor, recalling the historic Prada shop in the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II in Milan, and panelled walls covered in canvas in a range of greens, enhanced by portals and marble shelves.
The furnishing is rounded off by velvet Osvaldo Borsani chairs – green in the women’s section, grey in the men’s – counters with Saffiano leather trim and glass tables.
