Fondazione Prada presents The Next Quasi-Complex, an exhibition by the German artist John Bock, inside the Podium exhibition space, turned into his own eccentric and surreal world.
The exhibition presents two large installations of Collezione Prada: the mobile stage of When I’m looking into the Goat Cheese Baiser – used by the artist in one of his live events – and the living room of Lütte mit Rucola – originates from the correspondent film, where the artist himself plays a crazy killer. His performances, called ‘lectures’ – parody academic presentations – are enacted in environments crafted from everyday objects, arranged to create a deliberately absurdist, or illogical universe where visitors are involved in a participatory relationship with the artist.
On the 8 September 2018 will be host a performance, in which the artist and the actors Lars Eidinger and Sonja Viegener will activate the mobile stage of When I’m looking into the Goat Cheese Baiser, navigating around the installations.
