Prada unveils the new Cabins pop-up inspired by the summer at the Isetan Shinjuku department store, one of the mainstays of Tokyo’s luxury shopping scene. It is located both on the ground floor in The Stage spaces – devoted to leatherwear and accessories – and on the second floor, in the footwear department.
The fittings recreate an imaginary beach establishment, with a row of bare wood bathing huts placed on a podium and decorated with vertical stripes, evoking Prada archive collections, or with the brand’s iconic prints.
The setting is capped by wicker chairs reminiscent of the 1950s, the display elements, made with bevelled logs, and the raw-wood floor, featuring the classic black-and-white chequered pattern.
From 18th to 24th April.
